Psychotherapy
Talk therapy- This healing modality is our primary mode of treatment. We also use other proven wellness techniques and strategies to help our clients gain insight, healing, and grow in ways that serve them best.
During psychotherapy, we help the client address specific problems or general life stress. We work with you to learn about your condition and your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Psychotherapy helps you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.
Other adjunctive therapies that can be done either alone or within your talk therapy session. These therapies include hypnotherapy, brainspotting, breathwork, and energy techniques such as EFT Tapping and trapped energy releases.
Hypnotherapy
Clinical hypnotherapy is hypnosis used in a therapeutic manner by trained clinicians. It is performed in a calm, therapeutic environment. It also works well over a virtual zoom call. We will guide you into a relaxed, focused state and ask you to think about experiences and situations in positive ways that can help you change the way you think and behave. Research has shown it is helpful in stress, childbirth and to treat conditions associated with chronic pain, anxiety, phobias, smoking cessation, weight loss, and bad habits. It can be used to help improve sleep, learning disorders, test anxiety, sport performance, recovery from trauma irritable bowel syndrome, and more.
Energy Psychology (EP)
Energy psychology (EP) is a family of integrative approaches to psychotherapy, coaching, and healthcare treatment rooted in mind-body healing traditions that are up to 5,000 years old. EP methods blend the bio-energetic insights of these traditions with the best of contemporary psychological practice.
Energy psychology methods are more focused, goal oriented and active than conventional therapies. They work with the body’s energy systems (e.g. meridians, chakras) to create a change in your perception and experience.
